Privacy & cookies
This site processes only the minimum data needed to function. We use no advertising or tracking technologies, we don't profile visitors and we don't sell any data to third parties.
01Data controller
The data controller is NIU s.r.o. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.
02What data we process and why
Contact form
When you contact us by email, we process your name, company name, email and message - solely so we can contact you and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Anonymous traffic
On the hosting side we record the number of unique visits and the country of connection. To tell a new visit from a returning one we use a functional cookie (niu_visit), which lets us compile anonymous traffic statistics without identifying you. IP addresses are anonymized for this purpose and are not linked to any identifiable person - the data serves only basic statistics, not tracking or profiling.
03Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary and functional cookies only. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies (such as Google Analytics, Meta and the like).

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Since we use only necessary and functional cookies, blocking them may affect, for example, remembering your language.
04Retention period
- Email correspondence: at most 2 years from the last communication.
- Cookies: as per the table above (90 days).
- Anonymous traffic statistics: in aggregated form with no link to any individual.
05Data recipients
We don't share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. It is processed solely by:
- Web hosting provider - WebSupport, s.r.o.
- External accounting and legal support (under a data processing agreement).
- Public authorities, where required by law.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data,
- rectify inaccurate data,
- erasure of data (right to be forgotten),
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
